YES I have contacted FITBIT..
Here was the reply
We are glad to help you in the issue you are experiencing with your Charge HR.
Regarding your issue, we need to mention that after the recall was announced for the Force, we took every effort to evaluate our materials for all of our other products to ensure that skin irritation would not occur again.
Different people react to different materials, so your report of skin irritation will have unique results. We can't speculate on the exact cause of the irritation until we get the band back for examination.
We would be happy to offer you a full refund, including applicable sales tax and shipping charges. We'll send you a prepaid FedEx label so you can return the problematic tracker to us for investigation. Once we receive the package, we'll immediately begin the refund process for you. So that we can get started, please provide the following information:
*The email address associated with your Fitbit.com account
*The color of your tracker
*If you purchased your tracker at a retailer instead of Fitbit.com, the name of the retailer and the original sales price including taxes
*If your tracker was purchased at a discounted rate through a corporate wellness program, the name of the corporate wellness program, and the price paid
At this time we are unable to provide exchanges, but you can use your refund to purchase a different Fitbit activity tracker at www.fitbit.com.
We are looking forward to your response.
